Let me share with you 5 reasons why I have a soft spot for Home Hoi An.
- Elegant and Classy Ambiance
The place is tastefully decorated with dark coloured wooden furnishings and yellow walls true to Hoi An’s colour. What stood out for me was the framed black and white photo on the walls, showing you scenes of Hoi An. It’s like being in an art gallery accentuated with soft lighting.
- Refined, Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine
What Home Hoi An does very well is they elevate Vietnamese cuisine to another level. They don’t stray away from tradition in terms of flavour. However, thev elevate it with their presentation making each dish that arrives looking like artwork on a plate.
My personal highlights:
· Marinated Nipa Palm Salad with Shredded Squid: vibrant, colourful and best enjoyed with the crispy crackers served alongside
. Grilled Sea Bass with Herbs in Banana Leaf: Kelly, our server showed us how to wrap it with the condiments together to make our own roll. I am pretty happy to have the grilled sea bass on its own. The fish was grilled to perfection – flaky and flavourful
· Spring roll: crispy, light and paired with a satisfying dip. There’s a vegetarian option, should you want that too.
- Friendly and Professional Service
The team at Home Hoi An are always full of smiles. I love that they are more than willing to suggest what kind of dish to try. Our server not only recommended the dishes, but she took the time to explain ingredients when I asked about the salad. Their attentiveness made the experience personal and unrushed.
- Great Value for Upscale Dining
I was surprised by how reasonably priced the dining experience was for such elegant quality. The dishes range from 200,000-400,000 VND, which is not too expensive. Pair that value with excellent quality service and marvellous dishes, you will enjoy every bite and agree with me.
- Perfect Location for Perfect Reasons
The restaurant is located very near to Hoi An Ancient Town but far away from the dense tourist traffic. Home Hoi An can cater up to 148 pax, making it a great venue for family gatherings, solo travellers or a romantic dinner. It’s also such a perfect place to have a peaceful dinner after a long day of exploring Hoi An.
If you would like to enjoy an upscale dining experience which still stays to its roots, then Home Hoi An restaurant is the place to be. Each dish is thoughtfully presented in an elegant setting I personally would recommend it for a romantic dinner with your significant other or a celebration dinner with a group of friends or family.
