This July, Pasar Baru at Le Méridien Petaling Jaya invites guests to experience an extraordinary culinary journey with the launch of its Elevated Weekend High Tea Buffet-Chef Edition.
Taking place every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this three-month weekend affair brings together seven talented chefs each presenting their signature specialties in a rotating showcase designed to delight, surprise, and satisfy.
Running from July through September 2025, the Chef Edition transforms the traditional high tea into an elevated buffet experience featuring a dynamic spread that celebrates Malaysia’s multicultural culinary roots while embracing comforting international fare.

Guests can look forward to an indulgent variety of sweet and savoury dishes, from local street food-inspired creations to globally loved comfort cuisine-with special themed highlights changing monthly, curated by the chefs of Pasar Baru.

“Spiced Mongolian Delight” Grilled Mongolian Lamb by Chef Akmal – infused with bold spices and grilled to perfection.

“Northern Heritage BowI” Penang Prawn Mee by Chef Celven-a rich, aromatic broth layered with Northern flavours.

“East Coast Treasure” Nasi Dagang with Gulai Ikan Tongkol by Chef Afsyam-a Terengganu classic rich in heritage and taste.

“Chef’s Curry Masterpiece” Salmon Fish Head Curry by Chef Ifwat -a bold reinterpretation of a beloved local dish.

“Borneo Essence” Laksa Sarawak by Chef Jailani-a comforting bowl of Bornean tradition, full of depth and spice.
