Authentic Indonesian flavors are now being served at The Living Room as The Westin Kuala Lumpur’s all-day dining restaurant hosts guest chefs Dicky Andrean and his assistant Dimas Rudiansyah, from our sister Hotel, Four Points Bandung by Sheraton for a week.

Chef Dicky Andrean, Sous Chef at the Four Points Bandung, specializes in Asian cuisine, with the tapestry of Indonesian flavors being his niche. His passion for his artistry has taken him to Vietnam and now to Malaysia to showcase the flavours of Indonesia.

Indonesian cuisine is diverse and enriched by the styles of the various ethnic groups and islands that make up Indonesian culture. Its bold flavours are rich in ginger, turmeric, coriander, and chilli.

The spread on the buffet at The Living Room will feature a symphony of dishes from Bandung to Jakarta, Badang, Cirebon Aceh, and Solo, West Jawa. Highlights of the menu are notable include the Nasi Jeruk, Kambing Bakar from Solo, Ayam Tangkap from Aceh, Udang Balado Petai and Terung Buncis Balado from padang, Empal Gentomg from Ceribon, Gado-Gado from Jakarta, rujak Ciherang and Perkedel Jagung from Bandung along with delectable desserts Bubur Sum Sum and Es Oyen from Bandung.

The buffet will not be limited to just these dishes as Chef Dicky and Chef Dimas will be serving over 50 types of dishes ranging from appetizers to soups, main courses, desserts, and condiments offered on a rotational basis on the buffet line. Diners can indulge in up to 15 different dishes at any one time during the buffet for a wholesome dining experience.

Chef Dicky and Chef Dimas’ authentic dishes are available for the dinner buffet, on Friday and Saturday, at The Living Room from 9 August – 13 September at RM188 nett per adult, while the a la carte options will be available on weekdays during this period.

For August, The Living Room runs a Buy 1 Free 1 for the dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday until August 31.
