Malaysia Airlines and The Westin Kuala Lumpur are teaming up to elevate the Christmas spirit with a curated menu offering which will be made available from 22 to 25 December 2023 at all the airline’s Golden Lounges in KLIA Terminal 1.
Travellers visiting the Golden Lounge Satellite, Golden Lounge Regional and Golden Lounge Domestic during this time will have the opportunity to indulge in a special menu curated by Executive Chef Zebdelone Chal of The Westin Kuala Lumpur Hotel. A seasoned chef with 25 years of culinary experience to his belt, Chef Zeb’s menu promises a delectable gastronomic adventure in time for the upcoming holiday season.
Guests can enjoy an enticing menu offering, which will feature thyme roasted chicken thigh, braised beef short ribs, beef stew with potato and carrots, buttered broccoli with almond flakes, and the classic mashed potato. To complete the meal, indulge in a tantalising green emerald pistachio mousse. Those dining at the airline’s Platinum Lounge (Satellite) will enjoy the addition of an exquisite appetiser, the salmon mi cuit.
In addition to providing end-to-end premium services and access to its renowned Golden Lounges, passengers and frequent flyer members travelling on Business Class, Enrich Platinum, First Class on codeshare flights (Malaysia Airlines operated flights), oneworld First Class, and oneworld Emerald can indulge in the signature meals while enjoying the picturesque view from the lounges before their departure. Economy Class passengers may also purchase their access to the Golden Lounge via the Journify website or mobile app.
