This year, the much-anticipated feast comes with an exciting twist, showcasing the street food flavors of the Chinese Muslim communityin Xi’an, China.

“The holy month of Ramadhan is a cherished time for us at Four Points Chinatown, especially following our recent win at the World Halal Excellence Award under the Muslim-Friendly Tourism category, as we celebrate the richness of Malay traditions while embracing the diversity of global Muslim cuisines.

“This year, we are delighted to reintroduce our well-received Chinese Muslim Ramadhan experience, featuring a spectacular menu crafted by our Junior Sous Chef and Halal Committee Head, Chef Muhammad Syahid M. Hanif.

Inspired by the vibrant street food culture of Xi’an, this menu offers a unique fusion of flavors that brings a fresh perspective to our Ramadhan festivities,” said General Manager, Herman Botic.

This fasting month, Quan’s Kitchen is delighted to invite families and friends to come together and celebrate with a Halal-friendly feast, set against a warm and inviting ambiance completed by stunning views of the iconic Merdeka 118 tower.

Taste of Two Cuisines: Malaysian Favorites and Chinese Muslim Cuisine

A celebration of heritage favorites and trending street food, each night is an adventure for the palate at our signature Ramadhan feast.

Rejoice with must-have local Malay dishes such as Daging Salai Masak Lemak (Smoked Beef in Spicy Coconut Curry), and Sambal Sira Kentang Ikan Bilis & Kacang (Potato, Anchovies and Peanuts in Chili
Paste), perfectly complemented by bamboo-roasted Lemang and diamond-shaped Ketupat Palas and Ketupat Sotong steamed in palm leaf.

Whetting the appetite further, guests can explore a vibrant spread of Kerabu and Ulam-Ulaman (traditional Malay raw fruit and vegetable salads), featuring chef’s signature Kerabu Manga & Ayam
Bakar (Mango Salad with Grilled Chicken).

To warm the stomach, the crowd-favorite Sup Jalan Doraisamy station is back with beef, mutton and chicken soups as well as complementing dishes like Daging Asam Pedas (Spicy Asam Beef) and Ikan Keli Berlada (Chili Catfish).

Adding an exciting twist this year, the Xi’an Muslim Street impresses with a range of Chinese Muslim-inspired street food, showcasing the rich flavors of the vibrant cuisine.

Savor Chinese-style lamb skewers at the Na Jie China BBQ station, as well as Malay grilled variety including Otak-Otak, Sata and Pepes. For a fuller street food experience, select boiled or fried meat and seafood skewers at Ah Chuah’s Chuan Chuan Stall, served with spicy or clear soup with the choice of Peanut Sauce, Sweet Sauce or Spicy Sauce dipping.

Another signature of the spread, the Roasted Lamb with Xinjiang Marination at the carving station is a must-try for meat lovers. Enjoy succulent cuts with the Pilaf Rice with Dried Fruit, Percik Sauce or Black Pepper Sauce.

Take in the view of the iconic Merdeka 118 tower while enjoying seconds and thirds at our outdoor action stations, including Pak Cik Fikri’s Popiah Stall with Peking Duck Popiah, Popiah Basah and Crispy Popiah, the Ice Kacang Station serving local shaved ice desserts and succulent duck and chicken at the Roasted in Chinatown station.
