Tapping on its slogan of ‘Hatching Good Food’, 1 Utama is inviting startups and first time entrepreneurs to accelerate their F&B journey by applying for a chance to pitch for a spot in its new F&B Incubator @ Estreet Programme from now to 20th November 2021.
One of 1 Utama’s many CSR hallmark projects, the F&B Incubator Programme aims to foster sustainable and unique F&B businesses by providing foodies and chefs the opportunity to springboard their dreams to reality and reinvent the eclectic dining culture in Malaysia.
Once shortlisted to pitch, startups will present their culinary business ideas to a select incubator panel of experts, followed by a Q&A by the panel ala ‘shark tank’ concept to gain valuable feedback on their business plan viability and financial forecast.
1) 3-months incubation in a dedicated space with M&E and fit-out provisions to carry out a F&B pop-up at Estreet to test market-ready models in an exciting live retail setting.
2) Training, coaching and one-to-one mentorship with F&B industry gurus and experienced 1 Utama retail experts to manage their business and to hone critical skills and solutions to challenges, together with marketing and publicity support.
3) The opportunity to learn and network alongside a community of like-minded individuals as well as a nurturing ecosystem to grow their startup.
Successful graduands of the F&B Incubator @ Estreet Programme will then be handpicked to join the priority list of trendy F&B’s at Estreet, 1 Utama’s newest alfresco dining street, by securing a guaranteed coveted leasing space as a permanent business partner.
