Most popularly known for their food products and their restaurants, we had the opportunity to experience this whimsical culinary journey when we visited Fauchon Paris in Muscat, Oman.
Located within the vicinity of the exclusive dining row at Muscat’s Royal Opera House, the restaurant is a popular spot among the city’s elite and visiting tourists.
After opening its doors to the people of Oman a few years ago, Fauchon in Muscat has been getting quite the attention. Famed to be one of Muscat’s leading chic, it is also making heads turn thanks to their immaculate service, gift selections and menu.
Diners will discover a new appreciation for Parisian gourmet, with a delectable menu as well as some tantalizing sweets and desserts.

For a rather memorable start, we tried some delicious French baguette and their tasty soup. Truly a love at first sip, the simple dish creates a nice tease for the appetite.
For those who prefer a vegetarian head start, they also have a nice mix of salads and other delicious delights.
We tried the Fauchon Lobster Roll, which was served with buttery brioche buns filled with mildly spiced and delicious lobster meat making it a must-have dish on their menu.
This was made more interesting with their mouth-watering dish-sliders which came in the form of very cutely curated burgers and dips.
As for the mains, we recommend their amazing ribeye steak and the succulent roast duck!
Be sure to take home their chocolates and desserts which are always beautifully gift wrapped. Their mille-feuille is Fauchon’s signature favourite which we will never be able to forget!
