THE WOODWARD CELEBRATES EASTER WITH ORIGINAL CREATIONS
INSPIRED BY LA MAISON GUERLAIN

To celebrate Easter 2022, The Woodward’s talented Head Pastry Chef, Titouan Claudet, has drawn inspiration from La Maison Guerlain’s glamorous eau de toilette. Original and delectable, the chef’s chocolate egg creation takes on the elegant shape of the house’s Aqua Allegoria bottle. Inspired by the famous Vendôme column in Paris with its chiselled honeycomb dome topped by a metallic gold sphere, the bottle is itself a modern version of the iconic Guerlain bee bottle designed in 1853.

The Pastry Chef’s refined skills are the perfect echo to the creative spirit of La Maison Guerlain, whose joyful eau de toilette collection pays tribute to nature and its beautiful raw materials for moments of true pleasure. Titouan Claudet has created a delicate work of art made of grand cru chocolate from wild Criollo cacao beans sourced in Beni, Bolivia. Standing on a square pedestal of chocolate with fleur de sel, the egg is filled with caramelised hazelnuts and salted butter caramel, revealing infinitely decadent flavours in the spirit of chocolate mendiants. This limited-edition creation will be available exclusively by order from 10 to 18 April at CHF 98 each, to be picked up on site. Reservations at +41 22 901 37 00.

Throughout Easter weekend, Le Jardinier, with its modern décor punctuated by serene natural tones and its veranda offering majestic views over the lake and Mont-Blanc, will propose a 4-course spring inspired menu at lunch and dinner for CHF 140. Committed to cooking with an abundance of local and seasonal ingredients, Executive Chef Olivier Jean’s menu promises to be healthy and generous. The bar will offer a cocktail called Bee’s co Sour in homage to the Guerlain Bee, which has guided the House’s collaborations and artistic creations since it landed on the original 1853 bee bottle. Created by Head Bartender Loïc Ledevin, this new cocktail is composed of bee-pollen-infused pisco, lemon and homemade mead, is infused with verbena and finished with honey produced by Stéphanie, a local beekeeper and Mont Salève white beer, offering a fresh and floral escape for the senses.

Spa Guerlain at The Woodward will offer special, sensorial moments for two this Easter, designed to be shared with one’s mother, a friend or a special someone. It is an invitation to let time stand still and savour the experience of tranquillity in a beautiful sanctuary of wellbeing. Scent-loving customers will also be offered a private perfume consultation in an experience designed to plunge into the heart of perfume history and discover the fragrance that best reflects their personality. The elegant boutique nestled within the spa offers the possibility to handpick a bottle, personalise it with an engraved message and dress it up with a custom ribbon. The perfume consultation is available by appointment only, every day from 10am to 7pm. At CHF 100 for 30 minutes, the experience is free with any perfume purchase.
