PETRA Lifestyle raised a total of RM50,000 for MySkills Foundation, a non-governmental organization that helps youths at risk. The fund-raising event was in conjunction with the first anniversary celebration of V’s Bar held a few weeks ago.
V’s Bar is a cocktail, whisky and cigar bar that provides a unique and prestigious entertainment experience to customers. Recognised recently at Malaysia’s Top 30 Bar Awards, V’s Bar is perfect for those who want to treat themselves or their loved ones to the finest food and beverages, great live entertainment, and premium cigars. It has also established itself as an ideal venue to host events and gatherings right in the city center.
In addition to providing an array of carefully crafted food, there is an extensive beverage selection, which includes over 100 premium whiskies, a line of signature cocktails made by some of the best mixologist in the country and an exquisite selection of French and Italian wines.
PETRA Lifestyle’s President Roberto Guiati said he was happy with the turnout and the contribution from those who attended the charity auction held during V’s Bar 1st year anniversary celebration.
“The team at V’s Bar have worked hard this past year to create a unique entertainment venue. We are especially proud of what they have achieved.”
“We are really happy with all the support received for MySkills Foundation through the auction, donations and purchases of their products. The contributions will allow the foundation to reach out and help more young people through education and training,” he added.
Meanwhile, PETRA Group’s Chairman and Chief Executive Datuk (Dr) Vinod Sekhar said the anniversary celebration is not just about celebrating a milestone but about wanting to give back and to take this opportunity to do something good.
“This is why we did the auction and fund-raising for MySkills Foundation, which is chaired by my wife, Datin Winy Sekhar and founded by Mr Pasupathi Sithamparam. Mr Pasupathy has over the years been tirelessly championing and equipping the underprivileged youths with skills for a better life. MySkills Foundation provides a life-changing chance for boys and girls from poor families, and school dropouts by offering vocational courses to improve their lives and change the course of their future,” he said.
