The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a lodging business unit wholly owned by CapitaLand Investment (CLI), announced the grand opening of lyf Bugis Singapore today. This marks lyf’s fourth property and the first wellness-focused lyf property in Singapore.

Lyf Bugis Singapore is jointly owned by two private funds under CLI, CapitaLand Ascott Residence Asia Fund II (CLARA II) and CapitaLand Wellness Fund (C-WELL).

Located in Singapore’s downtown core district within walking distance to Bugis, Rochor and Bencoolen MRT train stations, lyf Bugis Singapore features 308 units across six room types.

The hotel is sat strategically in the heart of Bugis and provides easy access to the arts and heritage district of Bugis where local restaurants are located along Arab Street and Haji Lane.

Supporting both social and active wellness, the property will offer a wide range of amenities including shared spaces that provide opportunities for social interaction, fitness facilities that enable guests to keep active while travelling and a chance to indulge in nourishing food and beverage (F&B) options.

lyf by The Ascott Limited

lyf (live your freedom) caters to next-generation travellers, digital nomads, technopreneurs, creatives, and self-starters seeking a dynamic environment to live, work, and play.

The brand champions experience-led social living, offering curated experiences and programmes to foster connections within the community.

The lyf concept provides guests with tastefully designed, functional rooms with shared social spaces and various workspaces.

The brand focuses on five content pillars: Arts, Culture & Entertainment; Fashion, Beauty & Design; Health & Wellness; Technology & Sustainability; and Food & Beverage.

The opening of lyf Bugis Singapore will strengthen lyf’s brand presence with a total portfolio of five properties both operating and in the pipeline, in Singapore.

These include lyf Funan Singapore, lyf one-north Singapore, lyf Farrer Park Singapore as well as lyf Chinatown Singapore, slated to open in mid-2026.

Globally, the lyf brand also marks its fifth anniversary this year, since its debut in 2019 with the opening of lyf Funan Singapore as one of the largest experience-led social-living property in Southeast Asia.

Currently present in 25 cities across the world, with over 6,000 units both operating and in the pipeline, the lyf brand has since broadened to a multifaceted hospitality experience that spans both city hotels and full-service resorts.

lyf Bugis Singapore’s Focus on Health and Wellness

lyf Bugis Singapore places a strong emphasis on the holistic well-being of its guests, thoughtfully engaging all five senses to create a unique and rejuvenating experience. For the sense of smell, guests can customise their room’s ambience by selecting from a range of linen sprays, enhancing comfort and emotional well-being.

The property stimulates sight with calming artwork and soothing colour schemes, serving as visual reminders to slow down and relax. Taste is indulged through onsite F&B offerings such as Middle Child and Wild Honey, offering a spectrum of flavours from healthy food options to gourmet ice cream and wine pairings.

The sense of touch is engaged at the café-inspired shared social spaces, where guests can cook in the shared kitchen, play board games, or participate in hands-on workshops led by the property’s Ambassador of Buzz.

Finally, addressing the sense of hearing, the spaces within the property play music that invites guests into the energy of the space, providing a welcoming shelter and  peaceful contrast to the bustle of Singapore just beyond its doors.

Additionally, guests can choose from a variety of pillow types to ensure a comfortable night’s rest, further enhancing their overall wellness experience. Room rates start from S$160 nett.
