From corporate meetings and team-building sessions to birthday celebrations and private gatherings, Moxy Putrajaya is offering a more playful approach to events with flexible spaces designed for different occasions.
The hotel recently showcased its meetings and events concept through the “MICE to Meet You” activation, welcoming approximately 30 corporate clients and more than 50 media representatives to explore its five themed Fun Rooms.
Moving away from the conventional event setting, the spaces can be configured for various purposes, including business discussions, workshops, training sessions, social functions and celebrations. Each room offers a different setup, allowing organisers to choose an environment that suits the nature of their event, whether formal or more relaxed.
During the activation, Fun Room 1 featured a U-shaped arrangement suited to collaborative discussions, while Fun Room 2 demonstrated a classroom-style setup for training sessions and workshops, accommodating up to 18 participants.
Fun Room 3 offered a more traditional banquet arrangement for social functions and celebrations. It can also accommodate up to 52 guests in a classroom setup or 80 in theatre style, making it one of the hotel’s larger event spaces.
Beyond conventional event layouts, Moxy Putrajaya also showcased activities designed to encourage interaction. Guests explored a DIY station where they could personalise the hotel’s signature plush mascot and create their own greeting cards and drawstring bags. A mocktail-making workshop added another hands-on element to the experience.
For groups seeking a more casual setting, Fun Room 5 featured bean bags, board games, carrom and a full-sized pool table. The space demonstrated how gatherings can incorporate leisure activities alongside social interaction, offering an alternative to the usual formal event format.
