Tropicana Aman, the largest 863-acre township by Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”), hosted a Chinese New Year celebration event with charitable donations to underprivileged children for the Ti-Ratana Welfare Society Malaysia (“Ti-Ratana”).

Held at the tranquil grounds of the Tropicana Aman Property Gallery, Kota Kemuning, the event saw over 200 care packs comprising essentials and dry goods delivered to Ti-Ratana.

Executive Director of Marketing & Sales, Krishnamoorthy K, Tropicana elaborated on Tropicana’s philanthropic efforts in support of the community, as part of its heartfelt mission to engage and uplift underprivileged demographics across Malaysia.

“We have hosted many community engagement events throughout the years – from Hari Raya, Merdeka to Christmas celebrations. This CNY, we want to continue to spread joy and festive cheers to the children of Ti-Ratana. This is in line with Tropicana Foundation’s core mission, Redefining the Art of Sharing,” he said.

Bringing smiles to the faces of 35 children, the charity event saw the donation of delicious treats such as chocolates and snacks, in the spirit of the festive season. Essentials including face masks,

toothpaste, toothbrushes, and body wash were delivered as well, safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the community. The initiative coincided with Chinese New Year celebrations in Tropicana property galleries across Malaysia from 11 February to 13 February, with exciting activities such as lion dance performances, lucky draws, colouring contest, calligraphy drawing, and more.
