As one of South East Asia’s most popular tourist destinations, Singapore is never short of amazing hotels. Hence, choosing a place to stay in Singapore can be quite challenging, simply because there are just too many options to choose from.

Standing amid a beautiful enclave within Singapore’s Chinatown district, a prominent building overlooks the busy city in the form of the Dorsett Singapore.

This renowned accommodation is the perfect lodging for those who prefer to remain close to an area that is near a variety of restaurants, cafés, and a whole slew of other lifestyle options.

Getting to the hotel from the airport is also very easy as it takes less than 30 minutes from Changi International Airport to the city by car. Alternatively taking the train is also possible as it is strategically located next to the Outram Park MRT Station and can be accessed via exit 4.

Upon entering the hotel, guests will notice a beautiful low chandelier hanging at the lobby.

The hotel property boasts a range of accommodations consisting cosy bedrooms and suites that come with stylishly appointed interiors alongside modern amenities. Guests can also enjoy a range of business and leisure facilities within the hotel during their stay.

Living up to its image as a prestigious property, the rooms are naturally, equipped with the required necessities like complimentary internet access complete with various satellite TV channels.

Guests can also spend their time working out at their gym or experience the pool while enjoying the stunning surrounding architecture of Singapore.

As for dining options, the hotel offers their guests special DSG Dollars, which can be used at up to 10 of the hotel’s F&B partners.

Their F&B partners range from outlets serving local style breakfast, local dishes to international dishes. Guests can pick which they feel like, and the DSG Dollars can be used at anytime of the day (not limited to breakfast only)

This package will help guests have a wholesome Singapore Chinatown experience.

We had a chance to try some desserts in the form of Durian Chendol at 99 Old Tree. A durian specialty cafe situated just a few hundred meters from the hotel. It was definitely worth the walk considering the hot weather in the Lion City.

Clearly, Dorsett Singapore makes guests feel right at home, and perhaps many would be tempted to extend their duration of lodging. Truly, the practicality and comfort provided by the hotel would always remind guests to come back during their next visit to Singapore!
