Top searched cities for the festive season include Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru, Georgetown, Kuching, and Alor Setar.
Amanpreet Bajaj, Airbnb’s General Manager for Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan, said guests are seeking stays with more space and value when it comes to family-friendly stays. He shared, “Many families are booking Airbnb listings because of their large spaces great for gatherings, household amenities such as a kitchen and washing machine, and the option to live altogether as a family during this festive period. Among Malaysia’s top-booked Categories for family travel last year in Malaysia include Tropical, Amazing Pools, Beach and National Parks.”
