Popular American rock band, Mr. Big will be performing in their final worldwide tour, aptly named “The BIG Finish”. The band which was formed in 1988 is famous for hits “To Be With You”, “Just Take My Heart” and “Wild World”. They will kickoff their worldwide tour in Japan on 20th July 2023.
Shiraz Projects is proud to bring Mr. Big to Kuala Lumpur on 14th August 2023, as the final stop in their Asian leg of “The BIG Finish”. “With over 35 years in the music industry and multiple hits, we are excited to bring legendary Mr. Big to Kuala Lumpur in this special farewell tour”, said director of Shiraz Projects, Shirazdeen Karim. The band will be performing at Zepp KL, right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Mr. Big consists of lead vocalist Eric Martin, bassist/vocalist Billy Sheehan and guitarist/vocalist Paul Gilbert. Joining them on drums is long time friend of the band, Nick D’VIrgilio. He is stepping in for founding drummer/vocalist Pat Torpey who passed away in 2018 after a heroic battle with Parkinson’s.
Included in The BIG Finish set list is their breakthrough platinum selling 1991 album, Lean Into It. “We will be performing our Lean Into It album in its entirety, including our No. 1 smash hit, “To Be With You”, Mr. Big revealed in a Facebook post.
Known for blending various styles like hard rock and pop, Mr. Big are really looking forward to playing for their fans one last time.
