A CapitaLand Investment Limited’s (CLI) owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott) has announced a special collaboration between Somerset Kuala Lumpur (SKL) and Somerset Damansara Utama PJ (SDUPJ) with Swiss Dream Circus.

On last Thursday, Somerset Damansara Utama Petaling Jaya hosted an exclusive cocktail and Swiss Circus Mini Showcase preview event for their long-stay guests.
Located at Mutiara Damansara, Swiss Circus has been captivating audiences with its mesmerizing performances for the past month.
The event aims to provide an unforgettable experience for the guests of Somerset Kuala Lumpur and Somerset Damansara Uptown Petaling Jaya, while introducing them to the unique offerings of Somerset properties. The evening also featured an opportunity to explore and inspect the Somerset Brand and Family Theme Rooms set up.
Returning for the sixth time in Malaysia after a three-year hiatus, the Swiss Dream Circus is back to Malaysia and now taking place at Mutiara Park in Mutiara Damansara from June 28 until July 23, 2023.
The Switzerland-based circus will be bringing over 11 types of performances to amaze audiences this time around. Acts include a Cyr Wheel performance by award-winning Ukranian artist Jeka Dehtiarov, to gripping knife-throwing and arrow act by couple Tatiana and Igor, as well as award-winning aerial straps act by Janine and Fabien.
This is followed by a series of thrilling balancing acts which includes a ladder balancing act and a rola-rola act.
Swiss Dream Circus’ founder and producer, Marco Baumgartner said this year would be more thrilling due to the debut of its most recent light display, which incorporates both LED dancing performances and laser technology.
“Since we debuted our first circus in Malaysia in 2014, we have regularly released new, hand-selected performances for Malaysian fans,” said Baumgartner, adding that they will be selecting different casts and creating new shows to ensure fans won’t get bored over the years.
