Vietjet’s network between Vietnam and the east coast of Australia is now complete with its latest new route addition direct to Brisbane from Ho Chi Minh City, making it the first-ever direct flight between Vietnam and Queensland.
Operating on A330s with two return flights per week, Vietjet’s new services take place every Monday and Friday, departing Ho Chi Minh City at 10:05am (local time) and landing in Brisbane at 9:10pm (local time).
The return flights are scheduled to depart from Brisbane at 11:10pm (local time) and landing in Ho Chi Minh City the next day at 4:50am (local time).
“Vietjet’s direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Brisbane will ease the travel between the two localities, countries and across the region. Our crew and leaders warmly welcome our passengers on a comfortable, joyful journey with Vietjet,” said Chief Operating Officer of Vietjet, Michael Hickey.
Passengers to and from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane will now have another flight option by transiting in Ho Chi Minh City. Operating on a daily basis, flights between Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City will give passengers more flexibility and an alternative flight route to Brisbane.
Meanwhile, Vietjet also has eight other weekly return flights to Australia, now servicing Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with flight frequencies between Sydney and Melbourne to increase from September onwards.
