Vietjet opens up seven new international routes connecting Da Nang with Singapore, South Korea and India. In bid to connect more people to more places, these new services will commence from July 2022 onwards, with a total of four to seven return flights slotted per week.
Aside from a direct flight into Singapore, the other new routes include Busan in South Korea and New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bangalore in India. As the travel industry slowly returns back to normal, Vietjet is all set to offer more choices in terms of routes and destinations to meet increasing demand.
Earlier this year, Vietjet also introduced four new services between Vietnam and India – from Hanoi to New Delhi/Mumbai and from Ho Chi Minh City to New Delhi/Mumbai. Following the success of these routes, Vietjet has plans to launch two more routes connecting the island city of Phu Quoc with New Delhi and Mumbai in September 2022.
The announcement was made during the Da Nang Investment Forum 2022, graced by Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. At the Forum, Vietjet also announced plans to paint Da Nang’s tourism symbol on its fleet to promote the city’s image globally.
“Da Nang is one of Vietnam’s top attractive destinations for international tourists. In fact, Vietjet has transported nearly 22 million passengers to and from Da Nang to date and currently operates 8 domestic and 5 international routes to and from Da Nang. We believe that the new routes announced will continue to contribute towards opening up more opportunities and boost Vietnam’s economy, trade and business investment between Da Nang and other Vietnamese cities and regional destinations.” said Vietjet Vice President Nguyen Thanh Son.
With many new routes connecting Da Nang with the world, as well as the “Central heritage road”, Vietjet has constantly opened up more routes and will not stop offering more flight options with diversified flight schedules and memorable experiences for passengers aboard its new and modern fleet of planes.
As for Covid-19 travel rules, Vietnam has lifted the arrival regulations and travelers can enjoy a complete pre-pandemic travel experience upon arrival in Vietnam. The S-shaped country is more than ready to welcome international travelers to visit and explore its magnificent scenery.
