Local sports brand GYM AESTHETICS (GA) is expanding its efforts in sports promotion and health technology, aligning closely with the Hong Kong government’s 2025 Policy Address, which aims to position the city as a major international sports events hub and strengthen its sports industry.

GA and its sister company LIVE4WELL have invested across local and international competitions to promote “health for all” and encourage regular exercise among the public. This weekend, GA is the title sponsor of the 10th Hong Kong Masters Athletics Championships (HKMAC) 2025, an event that celebrates its milestone anniversary and continues to grow in scale.

The competition provides a platform for athletes aged 35 and above, promoting inclusivity in sports.

GA Managing Director Miranda Wong said the event embodies this year’s theme, “The Celebration of Life,” and demonstrates the company’s commitment to fostering both community participation and elite sports development.

Beyond HKMAC, GA supports a wide range of sports, including basketball, tennis, squash, lacrosse, judo, and pickleball. The group hosts the GA110 Hong Kong Inter-School 3×3 Basketball Championship and will lead university athletes to compete in the World University Basketball Series 2025 in Japan.

Hong Kong’s push in medical innovation is also gaining momentum, with HKUST selected to establish the city’s third medical school. The new school will focus on integrating research, AI and medical care, an approach that aligns closely with LIVE4WELL’s work in AI-powered preventive healthcare. GA and LIVE4WELL hope to collaborate with the school and government agencies to advance health technology and reduce long-term healthcare burdens.

GA also continues to nurture local talent. Supported athletes include former tennis player Jack Wong, now excelling in pickleball; rising tennis star Nicholas Cheng, who recently turned professional; and Hong Kong’s top squash player Ho Tze Lok.

Looking ahead, GA and LIVE4WELL aim to work with public bodies to expand sports technology, strengthen preventive healthcare, and build a healthier, more active Hong Kong.
