In celebration of the Year of the Horse, M Social Resort Penang invites guests to gather, feast and welcome new beginnings with “The Prosperity Feast”, a festive Chinese New Year buffet experience at its signature restaurant, Beast & Butterflies.
Specially curated for Chinese New Year’s Eve and the first two days of Chinese New Year, the buffet brings together time-honoured flavours, joyful traditions and a lively dining atmosphere. It serves as an ideal setting for family reunions and celebratory get-togethers, complete with live band entertainment and a special appearance by the God of Prosperity to usher in luck and abundance.

Throughout the three-day celebration, guests are offered a bounty of auspicious delights. Highlights include braised mushrooms, wok-fried prawns, and succulent roasted duck and chicken. The menu also features classic staples such as fresh steamed seabass and fragrant Chinese golden yam fried rice, all complemented by soul-warming soups. Each feast begins with a vibrant plate of Salmon Yee Sang. Topped with fresh salmon slices and crispy fish skin for a delightful crunch, it provides a flavourful start as guests toss to a year of good fortune and togetherness.
Dessert lovers can refresh their palates with a selection of sweet treats, from local favourites like Ice Kacang, Longan Tong Shui, and Red Bean Soup to an assortment of biscuits, pastries, tarts, and fresh seasonal fruits.

Priced at RM188 nett per set, each takeaway features fresh salmon paired with crisp vegetables and house-made sauces. Orders are available for self pick up from 11.00am to 6.00pm daily, with orders required a minimum of one-week in advance.
