Women and roses, it’s a timeless pairing that seems written into the very fabric of romance. But pair roses with an unexpectedly personal gesture at a luxury resort, and you have the makings of an unforgettable moment.
If you’re looking to sweep a woman off her feet, Furama Resort Da Nang has already written the playbook. What began as a simple check-in turned into something I never expected. Did Furama sweep me off my feet? You bet it did. Let me take you inside one of the most romantic resort experiences I’ve ever had.

Roses Are Orange, Violets Are Blue
Da Nang is a city made for wandering—between the white-sand beaches, marble mountains, and vibrant street scenes, it’s easy to lose track of time. After hours of exploration, stepping into the cool, elegant lobby of Furama Resort felt like a soft exhale. I was welcomed by warm smiles, a refreshing drink, and a lovely chat with one of the hotel executives.

Just when I thought this was standard hospitality, she returned with something completely unexpected: a bouquet of vibrant orange roses. My words disappeared. A thoughtful surprise, personal and genuine, it felt like the resort was speaking directly to my heart. That was the moment Furama etched itself into my memory—not just as a place to stay, but as a place that sees its guests.
Sugar High on Me
While roses warmed my heart, the next surprise delighted my sweet tooth. In my Ocean Suite, a beautiful spread of chocolates, candies, and fresh fruits awaited. I was immediately drawn to the creamy white chocolate and the locally made candies—sweet, chewy, and addictive.

Later, at the Hai Van Lounge, the romance continued with a decadent afternoon tea and dessert buffet. With over 20 types of fragrant tea to choose from and nearly 30 pastries—macarons, mousse, mini sandwiches—laid out like art, I felt like I was living in a delicious dream. Each bite was not just a treat, but a moment savored.
Tray Chic: Savoring the Vietnamese Copper Tray Meal
Why dine from a silver platter when a Vietnamese copper tray tells a deeper story? At Furama, this traditional dining experience is not only a meal—it’s a celebration of history and heritage.
With every dish served on a gleaming copper tray, I tasted the harmony of Vietnamese flavors: fresh mint salad with beef chunks, a tangy fish broth with Tay Giang banana flowers, and sautéed local vegetable ferns with garlic. The experience was both intimate and epicurean, like traveling through Vietnam one bite at a time.

One dish, the slowly braised gobies in a claypot, struck a personal note. It reminded me of asam pedas from my homeland—not the same, but emotionally resonant. That’s the beauty of food: sometimes, it bridges cultures more deeply than words.

From rose bouquets to copper tray meals, from sweet surprises to savory traditions, Furama Resort Da Nang doesn’t just offer a romantic escape—it creates one. Every detail, every gesture felt designed to make me feel seen, cherished, and remembered.
It wasn’t just a vacation. It was a love letter—written in roses, sealed with chocolate, and delivered on a copper tray.
